| Lot 365 | A smokebox numberplate, 44235, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4235 built at Derby in 1926, becoming BR 44235. Its BR sheds were Gloucester, Bath, when it worked on the Somerset & Dorset Joint line, Saltley, Kentish Town, Wellingborough, Toton, Hasland and Westhouses from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 12 December 1964 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Beighton on 10 March 1965. Repainted. £500-800 |
