| Lot 327 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, 24304, 1936, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2548 allocated new to Leicester on 1 July 1936. Its BR sheds were Accrington, Lostock Hall, Newton Heath and Birkenhead from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 4 February 1967 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 16 May 1967. Engraved brass, 6¼" diameter, the front lightly polished. £500-800 |
