| Lot 321 | A smokebox numberplate, 44110, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4110 built at Crewe in 1925, becoming BR 44110. Allocated to Toton by January 1935, its later sheds included Grimesthorpe, Heaton Mersey, Spital Bridge and Buxton from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 28 March 1964 and despatched for scrap to Slag Reduction at Rotherham on 21 September 1964. Repainted. £250-400 |
