A 3½" gauge live steam locomotive, GWR Castle class 4-6-0, 4079, PENDENNIS CASTLE. A well detailed working model with early tender. Coal fired with working inside cylinders and eccentric gear, and copper boiler. Nicely detailed cab and backhead with sight glass, pressure gauge, reverser, regulator and firebox door all working. Tender with hand operated water pump, all sprung buffers. Beautifully built by Severn Lamb, superb condition throughout, has been test fired only. Length 49½", in wood and glass showcase with display track and descriptive plaque. Overall length 59½", loco and tender locked down to track with J bolts. £3500-4500 |
