A GWR cabside numberplate 6129 from a 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in November 1931. Allocated to Old Oak Common by January 1948, it went on loan to Neasden in November 1949, before moving to Reading in May 1951 and later Oxford, Banbury and Stourbridge from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 18 September 1965 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Bynea on 28 November 1965. Cast iron, repainted. £300-500 |
