A locomotive headboard, THE MANXMAN, for the Euston to Liverpool (Lime Street) express which operated during the summer timetable only and ran in conjunction with sailings from Liverpool Pier Head to the Isle of Man. The title was first introduced in July 1927 but withdrawn during wartime. This style of headboard was used from the title's re-introduction in July 1951 until its last titled run in April 1966. £1800-2500 |
