| Lot 284 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 3823, from a 2884 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in May 1940. Allocated to Cardiff Canton by January 1948 and later St Philips Marsh Southall, Oxford, Neath Court Sart and Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn on 2 July 1965 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Long Marston on 25 August 1965.
