| Lot 278 | A worksplate, PECKETT, 1405 of 1915, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST, Class R2 with a reduced cab height of 9ft 0in. New to the British Gas Light Co, Ltd, Sculcoates Gas Works, Hull. Taken over by the North Eastern Gas Board in 1949 and scrapped on site in March 1966. Engraved brass, 12"x8½", the front lightly cleaned though some scoring from its time in service. £350-500 |
