A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCO CO, QUEEN'S PARK WORKS, 23473, 1926, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4399 which became BR 44399. Allocated to Workington by January 1948 and later Carnforth from 1948 to 1962, Carlisle Upperby and Trafford Park from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 8 February 1964 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Killamarsh on 30 March 1965. Cast brass, 14¾"x6", the front repainted. £200-350 |
