| Lot 227 | A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1933, CREWE, from a LMS Class 5 2-6-0 No 13252 which was renumbered 2952 in 1934 and became BR 42952. Allocated new to Carlisle Kingmoor on 21 December 1933, it was allocated from 1941 until 1962 to Crewe South and later Stoke, Birkenhead, Mold Junction, Agecroft, Aintree and Spring Branch from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 12 September 1964 and despatched for scrap to Central Wagon Co at Wigan on 10 October 1964. Cast brass, 10½"x6", repainted. £150-300 |
