| Lot 221 | A destination plate from the departure indicator at Salisbury, DOWNTON, FORDINGBRIDGE, WIMBORNE, POOLE, BOURNEMOUTH, for trains on the Salisbury and Dorset route which closed in 1964. The plate is of LSWR or early SR vintage. Enamel, 10½"x8", in fine original condition. A note on the back states that it came from the Benn and Cronin indicator in Salisbury Booking Hall. £150-300 |
