| Lot 215 | A smokebox numberplate, 48548, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8548 built to Railway Executive Committee order by the LNER at Darlington, Works No 1955, and allocated new on loan to the LNER at Gorton on 21 March 1945. Its later sheds were Mexborough, Immingham, Canklow, Rugby, Stoke and Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 15 April 1967 and cut up by Drapers at Hull in the week ending 9 December 1967.
