| Lot 83 | A nameplate, EDGEHILL, from a standard gauge 335hp 4wDH built by Thomas Hill (Rotherham) Ltd of Kilnhurst, their Steelman Royale type, Works No V321, in 1987 for the Ministry of Defence, MOD No 273. It went new to the Central Ammunition Depot at Kineton, Warwickshire on 17 December 1987 and was named after a local landmark. Following withdrawal it is believed to have gone to the Central Ordnance Depot, Bicester, Oxfordshire for disposal. Cast brass, 25"x5½", in ex loco condition. £300-500 |
