A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 8144, REBUILT STRATFORD 1937, from a Great Eastern Railway T77 Class 0-6-0 No 1144 built in October 1916, which became LNER J19 Class No 8144. It was rebuilt with a larger boiler in June 1937 and re-classified as J19/2, renumbered 4654 in 1946, becoming BR 64654. A long time Cambridge engine, it was withdrawn from there in January 1960 and cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. £300-400 |
