A Southern Railway ships bell, FALAISE, from the train ferry steamer built by Dennys of Dumbarton in 1946 for the cross Channel ferry services. She was converted to a car ferry in 1964 and transferred to the Newhaven to Dieppe route. Scrapped in 1974. Cast brass, 9½" diameter. £300-500 |
