| Lot 41 | A nameplate, FRANK BIBBY, from a GWR 3300 Bulldog Class 4-4-0 No 3416 built at Swindon in February 1903, named simply BIBBY when built but altered two months later to FRANK BIBBY, after the GWR Director 1897-1923, and renumbered 3364 under the GWR 1912 renumbering scheme. It was withdrawn from Westbury on 21 June 1949 and cut up at Swindon Works in the four weeks ending 8 October 1949. £4500-6000 |
