| Lot 366 | An industrial nameplate, CARBONISATION No 1, from a 0-6-0 fireless locomotive built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works No 7847, in 1955. It went new to Manvers Main Colliery in September 1955 for use at their By-Product Benzine Plant at Wath-on-Dearne, Yorkshire and was scrapped in 1981. Cast brass, 42½" long, in ex loco condition. £250-400 |
