| Lot 259 | A smokebox numberplate, 42955, from a LMS Class 5 2-6-0 No 13255 built at Crewe in 1933, renumbered 2955 in 1934, becoming BR 42955. Allocated to Crewe South by January 1948 and later Crewe North, Rugby, Nuneaton, Gorton and Heaton Mersey from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 16 April 1966 and despatched for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Long Marston on 7 July 1966.
