| Lot 257 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, 19232, 1910, from a Natal Government Railways 4-8-2 which became South African Railways Class 3 No 1466 in 1912. When it was re-boilered it was re-classified as Class 3R. Latterly used mainly for shunting, the Class were finally withdrawn in 1974. Cast brass, 7¾" diameter, the front repainted. £150-300 |
