| Lot 243 | A worksplate, NEILSON REID, 5698, 1900, from a South Eastern & Chatham Railway C Class 0-6-0 No 692 built in July 1900, becoming SR 1692 and BR 31692. Allocated to Faversham by January 1948, it moved in July 1951 to Hither Green from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 23 April 1960 and cut up at Ashford Works in the week ending 7 May 1960. Cast brass, 9"x6½", the front repainted. £250-400 |
