A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 5177, GORTON 1901, from a Great Central Railway Class 9J 0-6-0 No 177 which became LNER J11 Class 5177 and was renumbered 4354 in 1946, becoming BR 64354. Allocated to Annesley by January 1948, it moved in 1957 to Colwick and later Tuxford, Langwith Junction, Staveley GC and Retford GC from where it was withdrawn on 21 October 1962 and subsequently scrapped. Cast iron, 9"x5", the front repainted. £400-500 |
