| Lot 115 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 7211, from a 7200 Class 2-8-2T rebuilt at Swindon in November 1934 from an earlier 4200 Class 2-8-0T No 5286 built in September 1930. Allocated to Swansea East Dock by January 1948 and later Landore, Llanelly, Ebbw Junction and Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn on 6 May 1964 and sold for scrap to George Cohen at Morriston on 22 June 1964. Cast iron, the front repainted. £350-500 |
