| Lot 106 | A smokebox numberplate, 92039, from a BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 built at Crewe and allocated new to New England in December 1954. Its later sheds were Immingham, Doncaster, Colwick and Langwith Junction from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 17 October 1965 and sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Killamarsh but actually cut up by Arnott Young at Parkgate in February 1966. Repainted. £350-500 |
