A worksplate, LB&SCR, BRIGHTON WORKS, No 90, 1912, from a London Brighton & South Coast Railway I3 Class 4-4-2T No 90 which actually emerged from Brighton Works in March 1913. It became SR 2090 and BR 32090. Allocated to Eastbourne in 1948 for working the Heathfield line, it was withdrawn in November 1950 and subsequently scrapped. Cast brass with engraved lettering, 16¼"x9¾", the front cleaned. £700-1000 |
