| Lot 484 | A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 1324, 1947, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 61324, built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26225, in June 1948, and which carried its BR number from new. Allocated new to Kittybrewster on 1 June 1948, where it remained until moving in August 1961 to Dalry Road and then St Margarets from where it was withdrawn on 12 October 1965 and sold for scrap to Campbells at Airdrie. Cast iron, 9"x5", the front repainted. £150-300 |
