| Lot 472 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6142, from a 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in November 1932. A long time Old Oak Common engine, it spent a final month at Southall from where it was withdrawn on 7 September 1964 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 14 October 1964. Cast iron, the front repainted. £300-500 |
