An LNER 7½" dial brass drum clock with enamelled face, LNER, S.S. SHERINGHAM, the case stamped Earles, Hull, 1926. The ship was built in 1926 and worked on the Ipswich to Antwerp and Zeebrugge routes. She was transferred to the GWR Channel Island Service in 1940, taking part in the evacuation of Guernsey and Alderney. She returned to the LNER after the war and was scrapped in 1958. £350-500 |
