| Lot 419 | A tenderplate, BRIB, 1290, 1955, coupled new with BR Standard Class 5 4-6-0 No 73108 built at Doncaster and allocated new to Eastfield on 30 December 1955 where it spent almost all its life working trains on the West Highland line. It moved in January 1966 to Carstairs from where it was withdrawn on the following 31 December and sold for scrap to Campbells at Airdrie. Cast iron, 8"x6", in ex loco condition; the wording, BR Master Pattern, visible on the front of the plate. £150-300 |
