A nameplate TINSLEY with its matching worksplate ANDREW BARCLAY, 2025, 1936, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST that went new to the Tinsley Park Colliery Co, Ltd, Kilmhurst Colliery, Yorkshire West Riding. Taken over by Manvers Main Colliery Co, Ltd, in 1945 and became NCB property in January 1947 with the running number 40. Overhauled at Elsecar Workshops in 1954. Transferred from Kilnhurst Colliery to Manvers Main Colliery in 1962 and scrapped there around July 1966. Cast brass, the nameplate 32" long, the front repainted, the worksplate 16¾"x11¾", in ex loco condition. (2) £700-1000 |
