A worksplate, BUILT 1952 BRIGHTON, from a BR Standard Class 4 2-6-4T No 80041 allocated new to Bletchley on 5 July 1952. In November 1959 it moved to the Southern Region, first at Ashford and later Tonbridge, Exmouth Junction and Templecombe from where it was withdrawn on 6 March 1966 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 18 July 1966. Cast iron, 10½"x6", the front repainted. £200-350 |
