| Lot 364 | A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 1074, 8, from a Cape Government Railway 3ft 6ins gauge 8th Class 4-8-0 No 360 built by Neilson Reid, Works No 6218, in 1902, becoming SAR 1074 in 1912. The 8 Class saw service on every system of the SAR and all were withdrawn by 1972. Cast brass, 20¾"x14½", the front repainted. £250-400 |
