A nameplate, LONDON RIFLE BRIGADE, from the LMS Royal Scot Class 7P 4-6-0 No 6166 built at Derby in 1930, named in late 1932 after the famous London Territorial Army Regiment, and rebuilt with taper boiler in January 1945, becoming BR 46166. Allocated new to Rugby on 7 October 1930, this much travelled engine's later sheds included Longsight, Holyhead, Crewe North, Carlisle Upperby and Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in September 1964 and despatched for scrap to West of Scotland Shipbreaking at Troon on 1 December 1964.
