| Lot 356 | A smokebox numberplate, 6139, from a GWR 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in November 1932. Allocated to Southall by January 1948, it moved in 1953 to Tyseley and later Oxford and Didcot before returning to Southall from where it was withdrawn on 27 November 1964 and despatched for scrap to J. Buttigieg at Newport on 3 January 1965. The front repainted. £250-400 |
