| Lot 353 | A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1945 DERBY, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2694 which became BR 42694. Allocated new to Polmadie on 27 September 1945, it spent nearly ten years there before moving to St Rollox, then Dawsholm where it spent seven years before moving towards the end to Greenock Ladyburn and Carstairs from where it was withdrawn on 9 December 1966 and sold for scrap to Arnott Young at Carmyle. Cast brass, 10½"x6", in ex loco condition. £200-350 |
