| Lot 345 | A headboard, THE TYNESIDER, as carried by the Kings Cross to Newcastle sleeping car train. The title was introduced on 5 June 1950 and the last titled run was on 4 May 1968, with this style of headboard being used throughout. Cast aluminium in original condition though little paint remaining, the top rim stamped EMPA 17/1. As usual the titles of other named trains appear on the back. £1500-2000 |
