A worksplate, DUBS & Co, 3530, 1897, from a London & South Western Railway T9 Class 4-4-0 No 707 built in June 1899. It retained this number in SR days becoming BR 30707. Allocated to Eastleigh by January 1948, its later sheds included Exmouth Junction, Yeovil Town and Bournemouth from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 25 March 1961 and cut up at Eastleigh Works on 18 May 1961. Cast brass, 13¼"x5½", the front cleaned but unpainted. £300-500 |
