A worksplate, SHARP STEWART, 4687, 1900, from a South Eastern & Chatham Railway C Class 0-6-0 No 715 built in December 1900. It became SR 1715 and BR 31715 and spent most of its BR days at Faversham before moving in June 1959 to Stewarts Lane from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 11 November 1961 and cut up at Ashford Works in the week ending 2 December 1961. Cast brass, 9¾"x6", lightly cleaned but unpainted. £300-500 |
