A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 63425, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1920, from a North Eastern Railway Class T2, LNER Q6 Class, 0-8-0 No 2268 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 16, in March 1920, renumbered 3425 in 1946, becoming BR 63425. Allocated to Newport NER by January 1948 and later Haverton Hill, Selby and Tyne Dock from where it was withdrawn on 15 April 1963 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass 9"x5", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
