| Lot 95 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 1019, from the 1000 County Class 4-6-0 COUNTY OF MERIONETH built at Swindon in April 1946. Allocated to Penzance by January 1948, its later sheds included Newton Abbot, Stafford Road, Neyland, Swindon and Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 9 February 1963 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 8 January 1964. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. £2000-3000 |
