| Lot 478 | A worksplate, HUNSLET 10053, 1961, REPAIRED 1996, from a standard gauge 0-6-0 diesel locomotive originally built by Sentinel, works number 10053 and new to Dorman Long Ltd. Lackenby Steel Works, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire North Riding. It later worked at a number of other locations including Alstom Transport, Washwood Heath, West Midlands. Repaired by Hunslet in 1996 when this plate was attached. In 2003 it moved to Staffordshire Locomotives Ltd. and in 2006 to T.J. Thomson & Son Ltd. Stockton for scrap. Cast brass, 11"x7¾", the front repainted. £150-300 |
