| Lot 461 | A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN Ry Co, No 1445, DONCASTER WORKS 1914, from a GNR Class J22 0-6-0 No 585 which became LNER J6 Class No 3585, renumbered 4234 in 1946, becoming BR 64234. Allocated to Hornsey by January 1948, it moved in March 1951 to Retford GC from where it was withdrawn on 19 December 1959 and later scrapped. Engraved brass, 12¼"x7½", in ex loco condition, the back stamped 3585 and 4234. £350-500 |
