| Lot 452 | A nameplate JOHN H CARLESS V.C. and plaques from Class 31 31107. Named at Bescot Open Day in August 1992; plates were removed in July 1995 when the loco was withdrawn from Bescot. Taken to Ron Hull Jr at Rotherham and cut up by May 2009. Cast aluminium, length 80½", with two additional plaques 16½"x13" and 28"x10". Ex loco condition. £1500-2000 |
