| Lot 335 | A smokebox numberplate, 2876, from a GWR 2800 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in January 1919. Allocated to Ebbw Junction by January 1948, it moved in 1953 to Aberbeeg where it spent ten years, returning to Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 26 December 1964 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 22 March 1965. The front repainted. £300-500 |
