A LMS (NCC) cabside numberplate, 84, from a U2 Class 4-4-0 built by the NCC at York Road Works in December 1929, using parts from A Class compound 4-4-0 No 20, and named LISSANOURE CASTLE in September 1931. Withdrawn from service in 1960, it was scrapped in December 1961. Cast brass, 16½"x9½", in ex loco condition. £400-500 |
