| Lot 264 | A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1920 ST. ROLLOX, from a Caledonian Railway 72 Class 4-4-0 No 81 built at St Rollox in September 1920, becoming LMS Class 3P No 14486 and BR 54486. A long time Forfar loco, it moved in November 1958 to Perth from where it was withdrawn on 12 March 1962 and sold for scrap to West of Scotland Shipbreaking at Troon. Cast brass, 10½"x6", the front repainted. £350-500 |
