| Lot 242 | A worksplate, LMS BUILT HORWICH, 1889, from a Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway 1008 Class 2-4-2T No 1313 built in June 1896, re-boilered in 1918, becoming LMS Class 2P No 10746 and BR 50746. Allocated to Southport by January 1948 and later Blackpool Central and Lower Darwen, returning in 1954 to Southport from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 18 February 1961 and cut up at Horwich Works on 14 April 1961. Cast brass, 10½"x6", the front repainted. £350-500 |
