A smokebox numberplate, 1012, from a GWR 1000 County Class 4-6-0 COUNTY OF DENBIGH built at Swindon in February 1946 and named the following July. Allocated to Old Oak Common by January 1948, it moved to Laira at the end of 1950 and in October 1956 to Swindon from where it was withdrawn on 24 April 1964 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport on 29 September 1964. The front repainted. |
