| Lot 199 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 2245, from a 2251 Class 0-6-0 built at Swindon in April 1945. Allocated to Reading by January 1948, it moved in December 1959 to Gloucester from where it was withdrawn on 23 May 1963 and sold for scrap to Cooper's Metals at Sharpness on 31 December 1963. Cast iron, repainted. £350-500 |
