A nameplate, GLASTONBURY ABBEY, from the GWR 4000 Star Class 4-6-0 No 4061 built at Swindon in May 1922 and named after the ruined Abbey in the Somerset town. Allocated to Shrewsbury by January 1948, it moved in 1950 to Stafford Road from where it was one of the last of the class to be withdrawn on 11 March 1957 and cut up at Swindon Works in the four weeks ending 18 May 1957.
