| Lot 130 | A (GWR) cabside numberplate, 4174, from a 5101 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon and allocated new to Gloucester on 2 November 1949. Its later sheds were Exeter, Newton Abbot, Laira, Westbury and Pontypool Road, from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 13 June 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Risca on 18 August 1964. Cast brass, repainted. £300-500 |
